What We Offer

Packing Service

Our packing crew will arrive at your home with all the resources needed to pack. All you need to do is show them where everything is. Your trained crew will pack all your possessions (subject to terms and conditions) using the appropriate packaging methods and materials. We may come to your home one or two days prior to your move to pack the bulk of your possessions to save time on the day of your move.

Packaging Purchase

We offer a full range of competatively prices packaging material that can be delivered to your home free of charge

Packaging Loan

For our customers with a tight budget we can offer a range of boxes on loan for a small fee

Storage

We can recommend a storage facility appropriate to your needs and move goods in and out of storage for you. We only recommend members of the Guild of Removers and Storers for your peace of mind.

Local and National Moves

Whether its round the corner, Land's End or John O'Groats we can move you. Our trained drivers and moving crew are experienced in long distance removals operations.

Budget Van and Driver Moves

Are you just moving one item? Are you a student or on a budget, or do you just prefer to get stuck in yourself?

You can maximise your budget by booking a vehicle and driver move. We supply a van suitable for your needs and a trained removals operator/driver.

Insurance Liability

Here at Ritchies Removals we feel that your confidence in us is essential. We hold full public and movers liability and extend our movers insurance to customers free of charge.

Terms and Conditions

Our Terms and Condtions have been considered carefully and designed to protect your rights and to enable us to offer all our customers a first class service. Please note that your move is not booked until you have received a booking confirmation letter with a copy of our terms and condtions. Please don't hesitate to email us with any queries you may have regarding our Terms or your Contract with us.

Delay Waiver

A common problem on moving day is delay in exchanging contracts. There's nothing worse than twiddling your thumbs knowing you are paying a full moving crew by the hour. With this in mind we offer a Delay Waiver costing just £15 which means your move can be delayed and cost you nothing more than time.

Cancellation Waiver

It's every movers nightmare but it does happen occassionally. Most reputable removals companies charge a scaled cancellation fee if your move is cancelled at short notice, this can be up to 100% of the total fee. We offer a Cancellation Waiver at a cost of only £50 which means if your move is cancelled you will get a full refund of your moving costs. Now that can't be bad!
